Traffic Doppler Radar
Kulig, Radomír ; Józsa, Ladislav (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with problematics of speed measurement of an object with a Doppler radar. This radar communicates with other environment through RS232 interface. The complete solution of this Doppler radar is provided in the thesis. There are electrical schemes of all parts and program to control microcontroller in this work. Speed measurements for the radar are summarized in the end of the work.
Train seat of the future
Torčík, Václav ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
For my bachelor's thesis, I designed a seat to be used by students in public transportation vehicles. The goal is a constructional concept which fulfills the specified parameters. Part of the thesis involves a questionnaire. Research includes the historical evolution of train transportation, technical requirements and ergonomy. A concept and model were based on results of the research. Manufacturing drawings of selected parts of the seat are in the annex or the thesis.
Efficiency of Public Procurement in Transport Infrastructure
Pátek, Dalibor ; Skuhrovec, Jiří (advisor) ; Seman, Vojtěch (referee)
The aim of this paper is to evaluate impact of European Union membership and selected institutions on efficiency of public procurement in road and railroad infrastructure. We asses both output efficiency (growth of road and railroad network in relation to investments) and purposefulness of funds expended (by experience reported by its business users). We also focus on distribution of funds between maintenance expenditures and investments and influence of accession to European Union on this ratio and try to determine efficient level of maintenance expenditures per kilometer of network.

Preventive measures in the road and their importance in reducing the number of traffic accidents in the selected location
KADLEC, Roman
Thesis describes the main legal standards relating to traffic accidents, selects and describes the institutions that were established to prevent accidents on the road, lists and describes selected campaigns and preventive measures analyzes of road traffic de lege lata and attempts to determine and optimize the impact of prevention to reduce the number of accidents on legal aspects.
Praktická aplikace rozšířeného kontejnerového dopravního problému pro přepravu velkoobjemového zboží
Krčmář, Pavel ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Lagová, Milada (referee)
The thesis concerning practical application of a container transport problem in a case of a company trading kitchen appliances, concretely optimizing costs of the transport of goods from three warehouses to five stores with four different types of cars.
The Comparison of Efficiency of Approximate Methods for Solving Transportation Problem
Zárubová, Radka ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
The goal of my work is to analyze difference between optimal solution and solution we get when using approximate methods (i.e. NWCM, LCM, VAM). To get necessary data, I have created an application in VBA (both for generating and solving). The application interacts with LINGO. However, its most important parts are procedures for these approximation methods which can be run separately. Therefore, after explaining necessary theory, I focus on approximation methods and explain every single code for them. The last part of my work is the mentioned comparison. In this part, I analyze difference between optimum and approximate solution for five chosen dimensions of transportation tableau. Last but not least, I study whether there is any dependence of difference on number of constrains.
